WHY CHOOSE DOMINION SMILES FOR YOUR  GENERAL DENTISTRY NEEDS

Oral health is closely related to general health. When it comes to proper dental hygiene for a lifetime of oral health, the doctors at Dominion Smiles take the time to educate each patient. Communication plays a key role in the process. Compassion and comfort are what our practice is built on.

As residents of The Dominion, Drs. Ruiwen Ma and Aliaksandr Dolbik founded Dominion Smiles to care for patients in their beloved hometown. Armed with the latest equipment, including a laser, and years of training and expertise—they act in concert to offer advanced, minimally invasive treatment plans dedicated to transforming patients’ dazzling smiles and enhancing and preserving their oral health to last a lifetime. Beyond general and cosmetic dentistry, they perform many specialized services that an endodontist or oral surgeon would, such as wisdom teeth removal and root canals.

 Routine Check-up and Preventative Dentistry

The ADA recommends patients from children through adults should see the dentist every six months. Having teeth professionally cleaned and polished prevents tooth decay. X-rays and images from an intraoral camera can detect decay and assess the integrity of each tooth and bone structure. The dentists also perform a preventive oral cancer screening and airway screening.

Dental  Cleanings Professional

Using specialized equipment to scrape tartar off teeth, a dental hygienist can prevent tooth decay. After a cleaning, they will polish the teeth to get rid of any remaining tartar. They will educate the patient on healthy brushing and flossing habits.

Oral  Cancer Screenings and Intraoral Scanner

Patients of all ages receive an oral cancer screening with every checkup to detect the presence of cancerous or precancerous conditions in the mouth. They will visually inspect the area, as well as feel for any bumps or abnormalities. The three-dimensional intraoral scanner gives prescise digital impressions from inside the mouth. More accurate imaging leads to better outcomes.

Dental  Emergency Check-up

In the case of an emergency, timing is everything and it’s crucial to be seen immediately.

What qualifies as an emergency?

If you have a severe toothache, have had a tooth knocked out or cracked, or are experiencing a tooth that’s bleeding uncontrollably or abscessed, you should seek emergency care from a dentist.

Cavity Control & Fillings

The doctors use a new technique to seal cavities with less drilling and filling. Unlike traditional amalgam fillings, the resin we use is matched to the color of the tooth. We also replace old fillings that can contain mercury and leak, causing harm to the autoimmune system.

Our  Dental Bridge

To replace missing teeth, a custom-made dental bridge restores the esthetics, chewing function and overall oral health. They can connect to existing natural teeth through abutments, or be supported by a dental implant.

Dental Crowns Procedures

When a tooth is cracked or decayed, it’s time for a crown. This dental cap fits over the base of the tooth, which is reshaped to fit the crown.
